Da Vinci Code Provokes Italian Controversy

The Italian interior minister has announced that a billboard poster advertising the upcoming film adaption of Dan Brown’s global bestseller ‘The Da Vinci Code’ will be removed from St. Pantaleo church in Rome. Rev. Marco Fibbi, a spokesman for Rome’s Vicariate, explained the issue with the poster. “This movie is not reputed to be particularly appreciated by ecclesiastic circles” he said, the poster had been “causing a problem”.
