The Da Vinci Code

A couple of days have passed since the first official screening of, what was billed to be, the summer’s biggest blockbuster and nothing has changed in terms of critics’ opinion. The Rotten Tomatoes movie profile still shows an overwhelmingly disappointing ste of results, with the average score of the film now at 4.5/10 and 77 out of 94 reviews dubbing the film “rotten”. Despite my hopeful “tides may turn” comment, it now seems that the film really is depressingly mediocre.
