X-Men 3: The Last Stand managed to gross a whopping $107 million over the three day Friday-Sunday Memorial Weekend, making it the biggest film ever to open on the American holiday. Reports suggest that the film managed to pick-up approximately $45.5 million on Friday, $32.5 million on Saturday and $29 million on Sunday. X3 managed to beat the previous Memorial Weekend record holder, Jurassic Park: The Lost World, by over $30 million and also secured it’s place as the film with the fourth best opening weekend ever.
