Last Weekend saw Pixar’s latest effort “Cars” top the US box office with a respectable $62.8 million, it stole the top spot away from “The Break-Up” (Jennifer Aniston, Vince Vaughan) which only managed to gross $20.5 million in it’s second week. Rival animation studio Dreamworks, recently released “Over the Hedge” which has currently accrued $130.4 million during the 4 weeks since it’s release - whether “Cars” can go onto surpass these figures is yet to be seen, but it’s opening weekend has dwarfed “Over the Hedge’s” decidely average $38.5 million.
