Cinematic legend John Woo is delving into another industry for a while in order to oversee an upcoming comic book which is to be published by, as Empire puts it’s it, the “freshly formed Virgin Comics Company”. The book has been dubbed “Seven Brothers” and follows seven siblings who traverse the globe in separate Chinese trader ships, cluminating in a battle 500 years on involving their descendants - interesting, no? “We see this franchise as a great way for filmmakers to flesh out their ideas and it helps set up a great template to continue developing the projects for film or other mediums,” said Virgin’s co-founder, Gotham Chopra “And starting with John Woo and Terence Chang, we have paved the road with gold so far.”
