More rumours surrounding Peter Jackson’s upcoming big screen adaption of Halo have surfaced today with a number of websites reporting that Denzel Washington could be up for the role of Master Chief. According to Rotten Tomatoes Washington recently met with Jackson to discuss working together - but as you can probably tell, there is no stone cold evidence to suggest that they will be collaboarting on this particular movie, even though Denzel would probably make the perfect Master Chief. “Halo” is scheduled for an estimated release in 2008 and despite popular assumption, currently has no director (Jackson is executive producer) although Hellboy fanatic Guillermo Del Toro has been loosely linked with the project.
