Earlier reports suggesting that Bill Pullman was lined up to star as Philip K. Dick in his upcoming biopic have been challenged today by a number of news sources that believe Paul Giamatti could now be the one to step up to the plate. The project is currently untitled and is set to be written by Tony Grisoni - a company involved in Dick’s own estate, Electric Shepherd Productions, will be running the whole operation and overseeing the writing of the screenplay, which according to Empire “will apparently blend elements of the writer’s life with his writing and also find room for chunks of his last, unfinished tome, The Owl In Daylight.”
