But there’s a twist, he’s not the detective we know and love after all because Jim Carrey is not going to be involved in the project. That’s right, Ace Ventura without Carrey, preposterous I know. But for what it’s worth, Rotten Tomatoes reports that this chapter will revolve around Ace’s son who is taking over the family business and will no doubt get up to some baffling mischief, just like his old Dad used to.
