Casino RoyaleBond’s latest offering is nearly upon us and it seems that the critics are kneeling down and laying the red carpet as opposed to raining on the parade. Almost all the reviews I have come across over the past few days have been predominantly positive and I am yet to find one which condemns Casino Royale as a boring and generic affair. 4 stars from Empire, full thumbs up from The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, 4 stars from the BBC, the list goes on. After the farce that was Die Another Day (who really bought the invisible car gadget?), a return to form for Bond would be like the triumphant comeback of Batman or Middle Earth after the ring ran it’s course, in other words, sweet sweet restitution. Head on over to Rotten Tomatoes or IMDB for a full round-up of the high profile articles.
