Park Chan-WookPark Chan-Wook’s interestingly titled I am Cyborg, but that’s OK is expected to be the first of around 8 Korean movies to be screened at Berlin’s film festival in February. The film, which is a drama focused on a female psychiatric patient who believes she’s a cyborg, is also expected to be in the running for the main competition alongside Yella by Christian Petzold, The Good Shepherd by Robert De Niro, The Good German by Steven Soderbergh respectively, Irina Palm by Sam Garbarski and Goodbye Bafana by the Danish director Bille August. A number of other Korean flicks will be screened over the festival’s 10 days (8th-18th February) including some by directors such as Hong Sang-Soo, Leesong Hee-Il and Lee Hae-Young.
