Director Craig Brewer follows up his unexpectedly well-received pimp drama, Hustle and Flow, with this stylish tale of the unlikely connections that are forged when a lost soul attempts to cure a young nymphomaniac of her wicked ways. Set deep down south in a small Tennessee town, the film is titled after and largely driven by the force of blues music.

An action-adventure set in the time when Vikings tried to conquer North America, Pathfinder tells the heroic story of a young Norse boy left behind after his clan shipwrecks on the Eastern shores. Despite his lineage, the boy is raised by the very Indians his kinsmen set out to destroy. Now, as the Vikings return to stage another barbaric raid on his village, the 25 year-old Norse warrior wages a personal war to stop the Vikings’ trail of death and destruction. 
For fans of the re-make of Dawn of the Dead and the more recent 300, news that Zack Snyder is set to work on an another zombie movie entitled Army of the Dead will no doubt be music to your ears. Whether or not Snyder will actually be directing the film is unknown, but he will definitely be involved in some way - mainly because it is to be based upon a story that Snyder himself wrote.
Regular updates have been few and far between as of late (for a wholly dull list of reasons), but do not fret because ‘business as usual’ will resume over the next couple of days. In addition to fulfilling news responsibilities (or - should I say - obligations) I also intend to expand both the reviews and reference sections as well as looking into adding some new areas to the site, so look out for those too.
