Daniel Radcliffe (he’s Harry Potter - just in case you didn’t know/are some kind of hermit) stars in this Rod Hardy-directed feature based on the Michael Noonan novel of the same title. Looking back on their childhood orphan experiences, the film’s now-adult narrators reflect on one particular summer at the sea, in which several boys competed against one another to be rescued from their Australian orphanage fate.
