Ever since I first saw Halloween as a young kid, Michael Myers (oh for god’s sake, not Austin Powers) has always scared the absolute piss out of me. I shall never forgive John Carpenter for terrorizing my innocent little mind and forcing me to look over my shoulder at night for fear of a psychopathic killer wearing an ill-fitting rubber mask and wielding a rather sharp (and large) kitchen knife. And now Rob Zombie’s re-make is on the horizon, threatening to rekindle the flame of my traumatic relationship with Mr. Myers. Well, you’d think I could just cast my love for horror movies aside for a moment and avoid the upheaval of childhood fears, but there’s just one problem: the trailer looks awesome. God dammit, why am I such a glutton for punishment? Pfft, catch the trailer over at BDTV (it’s bad-ass, I promise).
