Notorious for scaring audiences with Ringu (The Ring) and Honogurai Mizu no Soko Kara (Dark Water), director Hideo Nakata and producer Taka Ichise are teaming up once again for a new project which is to be partially based on a real Japanese murder case. Current details are rather scarce, but we do know that newcomer Eric Heisserer will pen the screenplay and that 20th Century Fox and Regency Pictures are the companies on board.
