X-Men spin-off flick Wolverine has finally been assigned a director and a start date for shooting. Tsotsi’s Gavin Hood shall be assuming the directorial helm and shooting shall commence towards the end of this year, in November, with the project’s release date being slated for late 2008. With regard to plot, it’s already been revealed that the story will detail the origins of Logan’s hatred for Victor Creed (Sabretooth) and the reasons for his entrance to the Weapon X program, through which he received his adamantium skeleton. Should be interesting anyway.
